Prov. 8:133-36
Prov. 3:33.  Hear instruction, and be wise, and refuse it not.
34.  Blessed is the man that heareth me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at the posts of doors.
35. For whoso findeth me, findeth life and shall obtain favour of the Lord.
Prov. 9:1.  Wisdom hath builded her house, she hath hewn out her seven pillars.
Prov. 1:7.  The Fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Ps. 1:11.  In the Lord put I my trust:  how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain?
Ps.40:4.  Blessed is that man that maketh the Lord his trust, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turn aside to lies.
Ps. 11:4.  The Lord is in His holy temple, the Lord’s throne is in heaven: His eyes behold, His eyelids try, the children of men.

Good Afternoon.  Hope everyone is having a blessed day in the Lord.  Our thoughts turn again to the Proverbs and Psalms to consider the many and great things God has done for us that we may be able to serve Him in this life.  Having an awareness of God is a blessing beyond measure.  Think of how many do not have that awareness of the GREAT and Sovereign God of all Grace and Mercy that are blessed to worship and learn from.  And He speaks to us in that Still Small Voice filled with grace and mercy and brings comfort, peace, and assurance.
In some of the Psalms we find David describing wisdom as almost a living entity.  He speaks in the third person to emphasize the importance of seeking, finding, and applying wisdom in our life.  Wisdom is the ability to discern or use correct judgement in directing our life.  This not only has great influence on our life and how we think but how we approach life.  The first point of wisdom is reverential fear of God.  Therefore we must have some awareness of Him and who He is.  This does not come by mans will but by the will of God and His Grace and Mercy upon us.  What a blessing to have this awareness and dwell in the truth of God.
David would say:  Ps. 100:4.  Enter into His gates with Thanksgiving, and into His courts with praise:  be thankful unto Him, and bless His Name.
This is not Thanksgiving that is observed once a year in November.  It is a reverential Thanksgiving to the most High God for He is Good and His mercy is everlasting. It is to be observed at all times when we approach the Lord.   His truth endureth to all generations.  How blessed it is to enter into His courts with Praise to bow our Knee and head in prayer to give thanks unto Him.  We can experience this Thanksgiving everyday in lifting our heart to Him and seeking Him.
Ps. 31:23. O Love the Lord: for He hath shewed me His marvelous kindness in a strong city.
24.  Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all ye that Love the Lord.

May His mercy and grace comfort you in this evening and your heart be lifted to dwell again in the richness and joy of His salvation.
God blees each of you and please pray for our Sunday services as they approach.

In Christ’s Love;  Bro Mike
