My sheep which the Father gives me.
Ps. 116:5. Gracious is the Lord, and righteous: yea our God is merciful. 6. The Lord preserveth the simple: I was brought low and He helped me. 7. Return unto thy rest, O my soul: for the Lord hath dealt bountifully with thee. John 10:27. My sheep hear my voice, and I know them and they follow me. 28. And I give unto them eternal life: and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. 29. My Father which gave them me is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Fathers hand. 30. I and my Father are one. Christ’s assurance of our destiny in the hand of the Father is ever comforting for the child of God. We may be beset with doubts and Satan may try to persuade us that we have questions. But the Lord’s truth stands sure and steadfast. Hope in Christ refreshes us each day to think upon how sure it is in Him. And the burdens of our nature are dispelled when we can think on these truths of Christ. What a Great God is our God. May we continue on in faith of Him and rejoice in the happiness of His Salvation each day. God bless each of you this day and grant the abundance of His Grace and Mercies. Love in Christ: Brother Mike.

The Good Shepherd
John 10:9. I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out and find pasture. 11. I am the Good Shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep. 14. I am the Good Shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine. Ps. 23:1. The Lord is my shepherd: I shall not want. 2. He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: He leadeth me beside the still waters. The Lord tells us that He is our shepherd. What a comforting thought to have of Christ as our shepherd and overseer. The illustration of sheep and the shepherd is very accurate to our walk in this life and how He cares for us. David's words of this 23 Psalm tell us the bountiful blessing of Christ as our Good Shepherd. Sheep are frail animals and are stubborn at the same time. They will not drink from fast flowing water and have difficulty finding green grass because their eyes are poor. They need the good shepherd. And we need Him as well. The “shalls” He promises are sure and steadfast. He is that door to life more abundant. A spiritual pasture of rich blessings. In His care and guidance there is life and light in abundance. May we seek to always enter His sheepfold and rejoice in the blessings of grace and mercies. God Bless you this day in His word, truth, and grace. In Christ's love. Brother Mike Working in the Light
John 9:4. I must work the works of Him that sent me while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. 5. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world. Jesus clearly brings us into the spiritual light of the knowledge and awareness of God the Father and of the Son. He lights our path here in a dark and sin cursed world. He may not be here physically as He was when John recorded these words. But He is certainly with us in Spirit and Grace. And He makes Himself known to those that are His and blesses us in His Word and Truth. Ps.113:4 The Lord is high above all nations, and His glory above the heavens. 5. Who is like unto the Lord our God, and who dwelleth on high. 7. He raiseth up the poor out of the dust and lifteth the needy out of the dunghill: 8. That He may set Him with princes: even with the prince of the people. The Lord does lift His own up to enjoy the light of His countenance and the blessings of His salvation. We are blessed to have that light of His salvation every day as we journey on the road of faith. May we continue to draw closer to Him, learning more in this light and giving Him the honor and glory of His magnificent Grace and Mercy. May the Good Lord bless you abundantly this day. Let us pray for one another as we continue on. Love in Christ. Brother Mike Daily Message: Monday 16 May, 2022
Continue in the Word John 8:31. Then said Jesus to those Jews which believed on Him. If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed. 32. And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free. Truth is always a precious fact to have in life. Man’s nature is to create his own image of the truth. The truth of God is the most precious valuable we can have in life. As Chrst states, the truth will set us free. Free from man’s dogmas and misconceptions of salvation. To know that our eternal destiny is entirely in God’s Hands frees us from the burden of our own work. We are not able in the least to make our destiny sure. Christ is our light of life and through His blood and the Father’s will, we have a hope and surety of hevenly glory with the Lord. Each day to walk closer with the Lord; and continue in His word brings a freedom. A freedom from the pride of man, free from the heresy of Satan and his legions. Free to rejoice in the joy of Chrst’s salvation for us. Both eternal and in this time world, He works His salvation for us. And it isHis truth and the more we learn the more we are free in Him. Let us be thankful for His truth and its freedom. God Bless you all this day and those to come. Let us draw closer to our Lord and His truth. Love in Christ. Brother Mike Trust in the Lord
Prov. 3: 3. Let not mercy and truth forsake thee: bind them about thy neck; write them upon the table of thine heart: 4. So shall thine find favor and good understanding in the sight of God and man. 5. Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. 6. In all thy ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct thy paths. 7. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil. Trust is an expression of confidence in someone or something. It has many fold implications to life, but the most significant is trust in God. When we have trust in the Lord, our confidence in the outcome of a situation is set and sure. He abides with us and has all control. His judgments are sure and steadfast. We enjoy a peace and happiness that passes understanding. Thy Youth is Renewed like the eagle’s.
Ps. 103:1 – 5. Bless the Lord , O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thine diseases; Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with loving kindness; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's. The Lord is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy As far as the east is from the west He hath removed our transgressions from us. But the mercy of the Lord is from everlasting to everlasting upon them that fear Him Bless the Lord, ye His angels, that excel in strength, that do His commandments, hearkening unto the voice of His word . The Psalmist's words describing the renewal of youth as the young eagle brings to mind how gracious and bountiful in grace the Lord is to us. To have a refreshing renewal of strength is so uplifting for the soul as well as the body. We may become refreshed by bedrest or other physical means and be able to continue to serve again. How blessed we are when the Lord grants such mercies. But lest we forget, He grants a refreshing of Spirit as well How blessed we are to enjoy that refreshment and rejoice in that joy. We are so blessed with the abundance of God's grace and mercies How rich His blessings are for us each day and how He lights the path with His presence. May He always be honored in our daily walk. God bless and keep you all in this day, Bro Mike |
