My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. 2 Cor 9 The Lord has blessed us with a good meeting this weekend. We appreciate all of our visiting pastors and visitors coming to join us in worship and thanks for the blessing of our church renovations. As you can see, Eld. Phillip takes his duty of taking care of a sleeping baby quite seriously. You can download the sermons and singing from this weekend here.

Elder Clifford Gowens, pastor of the First Primitive Baptist Church of Dallas, Texas and Elder Philip Conley, pastor of the Cool Springs Primitive Baptist Church in Danville, Georgia have promised to be with us - and, we hope others. Please pray for these brethren and the meeting. The new front of the church building faces the north. We would love to have you there and, if not, we ask for your prayers. Elder Mike Hughes Pastor Sister Karen had her rotator cuff surgery today. Her daughter, Sara, said they're keeping her overnight because her oxygen level drops when they take her off the machine. She will let me know in an hour how the surgery went. She needs prayers! From Sister Sara: Update on my mom. They are trying to keep her awake so she can breath deeply and get the anesthesia out of her system bc that's what's making her oxygen so low. It got down to 21. She just hasn't been breathing like she should. She is on oxygen she just isn't breathing deep enough. So we are headed to the 5th floor for the night. They will keep a close eye on her tonight and then let us know if she can go home tomorrow. We would greatly appreciate prayers. Update: Sister Karen is off of the oxygen now. She's sitting up and eating, but it still hurts when she moves.
Margaret is to have open heart surgery. Prayers are greatly appreciated.
Bro. Jacob Green, son of Eld. Adam Green, has been taken to the children's hospital in Little Rock due to leakage from his lungs into his chest cavity. Prayers are greatly needed for him and his family.

Prayers Requested: Elder Don Farris and his wife, Sister Emma, were in a very serious wreck this afternoon. Bro. Don is in Malvern AR Hospital still being checked over and doesn't sound good at all. Sister Emma was med flighted to St. Vincent in Little Rock, AR and was put on ventilation at the sight of the wreck. They both are in very critical condition and in need of the Lord's deliverance. Family are assemblying and in route, church folks at both places keeping us updated. More as we are told. Latest Farris Update: Wednesday 2/24/16, 1:00pm Family being called together. Doctors have suggested to remove life support this afternoon in the attempt to see if she can breathe on her own. If not, the machines will not be turned back on. Please pray for Bro. Don and the family as they gather to ask God's will be done and Sister Emma to be granted healing and/or release. Thank you all and will update as I learn more. |
